STAY THEN GO Makes its Digital Premiere April 22 In partnership with Sundance Artist Services On iTunes │ Amazon Instant Video │ VUDU │ Google Play │VHX

Minneapolis, MN (April 4, 2015) — STAY THEN GO, written and directed by Shelli Ainsworth, will make its digital premiere June 1 on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, VUDU, Google Play, and VHX.

STAY THEN GO is an emotional mystery that examines the limits of love and sacrifice. In a hospital waiting room, an uneasy mother reviews her experience raising her son who has autism. This reflection leads her to a startling discovery, which alters their course forever.

The film has appeared in numerous festivals and curated exhibitions throughout the country and stars Janel Moloney (Emmy series winner THE WEST WING) as MARION, BAFTA’s most promising actor recipient Matt Kane (THE LAST OF ROBIN HOOD, SWITCHED AT BIRTH) as Eddie, and Nicholas Bishop (HOME AND AWAY, BODY OF PROOF, COVERT AFFAIRS) as Dick Baird.

“We are so excited to finally make STAY THEN GO available to audiences nationwide and around the globe,” said Shelli Ainsworth. While we are always thrilled to have audiences see this movie at theatrical screenings, we are even more excited to bring this movie into homes and on mobile devices. It’s so important to bring this story to the right venue at the right time – and digital is really the way to make that happen.”

STAY THEN GO is making its digital premiere through the Sundance Institute Artist Services program (www.sundance.org/artistservices), which provides Institute-supported artists with exclusive opportunities for creative self-distribution, marketing and financing solutions for their work. The exclusive aggregation partner for distribution across all portals participating in the Artist Services program is Quiver Digital. The Artist Services initiative is made possible by The Bertha Foundation. These deals were brokered via pro bono legal services generously provided by law firm O’Melveny & Myers, which has built the legal framework for the Artist Services program and participating filmmakers since its inception. sundance.org/nowplaying.

Announcing the STAY THEN GO Multi-City Premiere Weekend

A unique independent film launch
APRIL 3 – 7, 2014

We’re pleased to announce that the first group of screenings of Shelli Ainsworth’s STAY THEN GO will take place in New York City, Minneapolis, and Palm Beach, Florida!

Our first stop takes place in New York City on Thursday, April 3 at the Learning Spring School, founded in 2001 by a group of parents of children with autism who wanted to create a school that would lay the groundwork for success in school as well as independent living into adulthood. In addition to screening the film and conducting a Q & A with parents of children with autism, the event serves as our premier pilot program for a series of similar educational screenings across the country. Our goal is to promote dialogue and awareness through storytelling and art.

On Friday, April 4, the film will screen at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival at St. Anthony Main preceded by a reception for the film. On Saturday, April 5, the filmmakers will conduct a case study of the film titled: “Zen and the art of indie acting.’

And as the third stop in our multi-city premiere STAY THEN GO will screen in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday, April 7 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival. Exact times and details will be posted on our website at www.staythengo.com.
